Pink Pakistan joins the Unwomen #ActforEqual campaign by releasing the song “Women of Pakistan” to create awareness, drive attention, and encourage action towards the upcoming Generation Equality Forum.
Convened by UN Women, the Generation Equality Forum is a global gathering for gender equality that started in March in Mexico City and will culminate in Paris from 30 June to 2 July 2021. The Forum aims to launch a series of proactive and transformative actions to achieve immediate progress towards gender equality.
To support this initiative, Pink Pakistan has recorded its action commitment by producing the “Women of Pakistan” song, which is all about equal opportunities for women.
“As a non-profit and non-government organisation, Pink Pakistan is wholly committed to improving the lives of women by eliminating all forms of discrimination against women and ensuring equal opportunities for them,”
said Dr Zubaida Qazi, Founder President of Pink Pakistan.
“Our organisation has launched several initiatives in the past, including mobile app. These efforts contribute to fulfilling our ultimate goal of women empowerment by safeguarding women’s right to well-being and welfare in our society. We will continue our effort until gender equality is no longer a dream but a reality.”
